Idols.
We all have them. Whenever Jesus is not central in your life, you have turned to an idol.
Faith makes people weird. It makes people do things which don’t make sense to the naked eye. This is because faith is primarily concerned with unseen realities.
Where do you turn when you need help? Do you ever need help? Of course you do.
Perhaps the better question is, ‘do you ever acknowledge that you need help?’ Human beings are obsessed with independence. In fact, it’s seen as a virtue to be independent these days. But deep within you, if you dare admit it, you know that you don’t have all the answers, and you do need help.
